After showcasing its gameplay at Summer Game Fest and keeping fans on tenterhooks, Nomada Studio—the acclaimed creators of GRIS—and publisher Devolver Digital have officially announced that Neva will launch on October 15th for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The release date was unveiled in a stunning trailer during Nintendo Direct, offering a closer look at the game’s breathtaking world and the ominous dark forces within.
Neva follows the touching story of Alba, a young woman whose deep bond with a majestic wolf leads them on an emotional journey through a dying world. After a harrowing encounter with dark forces, Alba finds herself linked with a curious, mischievous wolf cub. Together, they navigate increasingly dangerous challenges, with the wolf evolving from a rebellious cub into a formidable adult, testing their love and commitment.
As the cursed world around them threatens to consume them, Alba and her brave companion will do whatever it takes to survive and find a new home. Players will explore a beautifully crafted world brought to life through hand-drawn art, detailed animation, and a moving original score by Berlinist, the acclaimed composers behind GRIS. Unlike their previous creation, Neva introduces light, intuitive combat where players use both a sword and their wolf companion to battle monstrous creatures.
