The latest news on Enotria: The Last Song, new masks, bosses and finally a release date
We’re finally back to talking to you about Enotria: The Last Song, the long-awaited Italian Summer Soul from Jyamma Games. The latest news comes directly from “The Streamer Awards” event which was held on February 17th in Los Angeles.
Enotria: The Last Song – the new Trailer
In the new trailer, a red flower floats and breathes life into our character, giving him a whole new light. The emotional impact is strengthened by the narrator who defines us as “fruit” – an image that fits perfectly with what the viewer is looking at; aka The Maskless One freed from the tree of change.
In the imagination of many cultures, we find the tree as a representation of life, strength, rebirth and personal growth.
If you remember correctly, the world of Enotria: The Last Song fell victim to the curse of the Canvaccio. Forced into perpetual stagnation, the beautiful but cruel reality of Enotria waits to be saved.
We ourselves will be that change and that rebirth that will break the curse forever. We will not be alone, from the trailer we can see Pulcinella next to us, who could be the “Virgil” of the story.
New masks and Bosses
Also, we can see new characters: enemies, perhaps some mystical figure and Boss that we will have to face. The novelty that immediately catches the eye is the presence, probably, of Boss also in animal form. In fact, what appears in the new Trailer is what looks like an enormous Lion with a snake’s tail. It wears a mask and armor on its sides.
The colors chosen, yellow and blue, make us think of Venice. It could be a revisitation (the wings are missing) of the Lion of Venice. Furthermore, a city is historically linked to carnival and masks. In any case, there is no certainty that this could really be a tribute to the Lion we mentioned. Jyamma Games, once again, has demonstrated extraordinary wisdom in showing new interesting developments without spoilers. A great way to trigger players who, like us, ask themselves a huge amount of questions after watching the brand new trailer!
Release date and Pre Order available
Let’s finally talk about the release date, which many have been anxiously awaiting! Well, no, it’s no longer a mirage – Enotria: The Last Song will be released on June 21, 2024.
Pre-orders are already available in two versions: Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition.
