The renowned Welsh vocalist, widely acclaimed for her exceptional contributions to Hollow Knight, Nightingale, Slay the Princess, and Star Wars: Visions, will grace the soundtrack of Altered Alma with her enchanting voice.
It was 2017, and we were playing Hollow Knight when suddenly City of Tears began to play, a breathtaking piece composed by Christopher Larkin, enriched by a female voice that was nothing short of splendid—harmonious and, at times, almost celestial. It was a moment of pure magic, where visuals, artistry, the symphonic harmony, and the vocalist’s grace and delicacy transported us to another realm. For many, it was the instant they realized they had fallen in love with Team Cherry’s creation. But who was behind such an enchanting voice?
The answer is the exceptionally talented Welsh artist, Amelia Jones. We must admit that, up until that moment when we first heard “City of Tears,” we were unfamiliar with Amelia Jones as an artist, despite her well-established reputation from her exceptional live performances as a solo recitalist, chamber singer, and chorister. A versatile talent whose repertoire spans Baroque, Contemporary, Choral, Art Song, Jazz, Opera, and Folk, Amelia Jones is a prominent figure—or rather, a remarkable voice—in the entertainment industry. She has lent her voice to a wide range of projects, including Hollow Knight, Nightingale, Slay the Princess, and Star Wars: Visions, among others.
With the achievement of €75,000, 2Awesome Studio has reached their second stretch goal for the Altered Alma Kickstarter campaign, unveiling a special guest appearance by the acclaimed Amelia Jones. Despite her concurrent projects, Jones will once again enchant us with her exquisite voice, contributing to the soundtrack of this cyberpunk Metroidvania from the Dutch creators.

The Altered Alma Kickstarter campaign is live for another 21 days. The project has already raised $143.846 (approximately €130,609) of its $44,154 (about €40,000) goal and has unlocked 4 of the 5 stretch goals set by the creators.
