Neva

It’s been a while since we first introduced you to Neva, the highly anticipated new project from the Spanish independent video game company Nomada Studio—an enchanting and irresistible action-adventure that promises to be another extremely poignant and emotionally-charged journey, one that hopefully touches our soul as GRIS did. By the way, if you’re interested in learning more about Neva, you can find our main coverage here.

Over a year has passed since that day on May 24, 2023, when Nomada once again captivated us, even if just for a fleeting moment, with the reveal trailer of Neva. It was a journey into another universe—mysterious, remote, bucolic, yet undeniably beautiful; the same beauty and magic we anticipate finding in their upcoming project.

Since then, Nomada has seemingly disappeared from our radars, fully immersed in an extensive and intricate development process. Until a few weeks ago, when Geoff Keighley announced Neva’s appearance at the Summer Game Fest 2024—an event packed with exciting updates for gaming enthusiasts, featuring major announcements, trailers, and reveals. It’s here that Neva’s gameplay will finally be unveiled for the first time!

Neva - Reveal Trailer

The event, hosted by Geoff Keighley, will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok, and Steam. Following that, there will be an hour-long Day of the Devs show and the Devolver Digital Direct. So, if you want to catch the gameplay reveal of Neva and all the other announcements, set your alarms and tune in at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST / 11 PM CEST to watch the Summer Game Fest 2024 live.

Neva is set to be released sometime in 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. For more details about the game, stay tuned with us, and be sure to follow Nomada Studio’s X account for the latest updates.

That’s all for now. Until next time!
