Players will soon have the chance to savor a brief yet thrilling preview of Mishura Games’ anticipated roguelike character-action game.
Despite the current challenges in securing a publisher that embraces their vision and the captivating concept behind the project, Estonian indie studio Mishura Games continues to make impressive strides in the development of IMMORTAL: And the Death That Follows, their anticipated new IP set to launch soon on PC and consoles.
In recent updates shared on X, the studio disclosed that, following a brief period of reduced activity between late October and mid-November, development is now progressing smoothly. By early 2025, players will finally be able to experience a first glimpse of what this roguelike character-action game has to offer.
As announced in their latest update, Mishura Games is gearing up to release the first playable demo of IMMORTAL: And the Death That Follows for PC in early 2025, although the exact release date has yet to be confirmed. This demo will showcase the latest major build of the game, which the developers have been working on intensively over recent months. It will be available on itch.io.
Furthermore, a crowdfunding campaign is expected to launch on Kickstarter in early 2025, likely around the same time as the demo release. This campaign will be crucial for the developers, enabling them to assess the project’s reception and determine the necessary investment moving forward. It will also provide a clearer picture of the game’s roadmap and future development.
