Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, launched exactly one year ago by Xbox Game Studios on PC and Xbox Series X/S, Ninja Theory — the Cambridge-based game studio behind the emotionally charged and gripping saga of Senua — has made a major announcement via its social media channels. In a dedicated post narrated by Studio Head Dom Matthews, the studio revealed that the game will soon arrive on PlayStation 5 in a brand-new Enhanced Edition.

This announcement will surely excite PlayStation players, who will finally have the opportunity to embark on the second installment of Senua’s epic journey.

But let’s get to the point: when will Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II – Enhanced Edition be available? As of now, no official release date or details about the edition’s content have been disclosed. However, it has been confirmed that the Enhanced Edition will launch in late summer 2025 on PS5, alongside the previously available versions on Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Although the team has intentionally kept the specifics and features of the Enhanced Edition under wraps, promising that more details will be revealed at a later date, some interesting clues can already be gleaned by checking the game’s dedicated page on the PS Store — where you can already add the game to your wishlist. According to the listing, the Enhanced Edition will be optimized for both PS5 and PS5 Pro, featuring expanded functionality and haptic feedback support to offer an even more immersive and tactile experience of Senua’s harrowing journey.
