Here’s when we’ll get our first taste of the deliciously vibrant world of Delizia and its culinary wonders.

Italian video game studio Studio Pizza has officially announced the release window for the first playable demo of Monster Chef, their debut title. Set to launch on Steam in the coming weeks, the demo offers players a tantalizing first taste of the game’s vibrant, culinary-themed fantasy world.
The announcement came from Giulia Scatasta, Producer and UI/UX Designer at Studio Pizza, who also confirmed the studio’s participation in two major events: Indie Assemble—taking place May 5-11 on Steam and showcasing over 1,000 indie titles from around the world—and Svilupparty, the renowned Italian festival founded in 2010 to spotlight local game developers, an event that has become a yearly tradition for Studio Pizza.
The most highly anticipated announcement, however, was the confirmation of Monster Chef’s official demo release, scheduled for late May. While the studio has yet to reveal specific content, the demo is expected to offer a tantalizing preview of the game’s core ingredients: adrenaline-fueled hack ‘n’ slash combat with a culinary twist; unique and rewarding monster hunts, where players can harvest and cook their prey directly on the battlefield; an engaging and fully customizable tavern management system, allowing players to create the inn of their dreams; and an enchanting first look into the game’s whimsical world and its colorful, offbeat cast of characters.
That said, these expectations are based on our own projections—we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Studio Pizza before we can dish out the full details.

Monster Chef will be available on PC (you can add it to your wishlist here), with future plans for a console release. For the latest updates on the game’s progress, be sure to visit Studio Pizza’s official website and join their Discord community.
